  • What has been your experience been with the Mixed Chicks products?

My experience with Mixed Chicks has been one that is never failing. Ever since my natural hair journey has started Mixed Chicks has been there. My experience with them has been a very rewarding and reliable one and has left me with a good product foundation that leaves me with a go-to product line that guarantees my wanted results from certain styles all the way to enhancing the health of my hair.

  • What makes them different than other hair/beauty products you tried in the past?

The thing that sets Mixed Chicks products different from other products that I’ve tried is it’s versatility, it’s ability to work well with other products, and it’s multi-purposeful use.  Every product in this line has the ability to provide you with the necessities that you’re hair needs. On top of that, the packaging states simply and to the point, what the product is intended to do. You can never find products that state their use and actually can prove it with their product, and Mixed Chicks always prove their intended purpose.

  • Do you have a Go-To or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without?

I absolutely cannot go without the Mixed Chicks Leave In Conditioner!

  • How has having a product specifically for your biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime?

Having a product made for my multicultural background gave me a sense of support. It gave me a go-to place that made you feel comfortable in an isle made only for you. Having this specific product gave me the strength to deal with the annoying tangles and knots, and most importantly it gave me a support and confidence in my natural hair journey, proving that taking care of your hair is worth it!

  • How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?

My curls represent my ethnic background by bringing a sense of standing out and individuality within the world I live in today. My curls make a statement, and they are bold. Most importantly they are different. Each curl is different yet they come together to form the thing on my head known as a fro. This resembles my background. We’re all different, and we all always come together.

  • What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?

One feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers my hair/beauty care is its versatility. One product specifically used for a leave in can be used as a styler as well. Every product has a purpose and then a bonus to it, which makes them adaptable, and with them being adaptable, that leads to being convenient. They have a product for every need and they always provide a solution.

  • If you could define Your Hair Story in one word what would it be?

If I could define my hair story in one word it would be, “ Inspiring” .

  • Why is the curly revolution vital for our generation?

The curly revolution is vital for our generation because it proves that there is no reason as to why you can’t be yourself and be proud of who you are. The curly revolution doesn’t only speak to the curly hair community but the world by standing up for every individual. It teaches us that there is no limit to who we are and who we want to be!

  • If your ‘Mixed Chick’ story were a song, what would it be?

If my Mixed Chick story were a song, it would be “Ain’t been done” By Jessie J.
