What has been my experience with Mixed Chicks products?

My experience with mixed chicks products has been great. Shopping for hair products can be so overwhelming. I finally decided to give mixed chicks a try and needles to say I have been hooked ever since.

What makes mixed chicks different than other hair/ beauty products that I have tried in the past?

What makes mixed chicks products different from others is its quality, consistency and story.  I love how the product works great by itself or if I mix it with others. I also love that the story is genuine and true. No gimmicks!!!

Do you have a go-to or token mixed chick product that you cannot go without?

My favorite product hands down is the leave-in conditioner. I cannot go with out it!  It’s my absolute favorite.

How has having a product specifically for your biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime?

Having products designed specifically for my ethnic background has really made me love and appreciate my hair. I enjoy every wash and go and I’m always excited to see the end result.

How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?

My curls represent my ethnic background because they are bold and different. Not one curl on this head of mine is the same. Each one curls its own way but they all come together and form a beautiful crown of curls that I wear everyday.

What is one feature of the mixed chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?

One feature of Mixed Chicks brand is how versatile the products are. I love how there are no rules or limits to what you can do. You can mix it or use it alone and always get amazing results!!

If you could define your hair story in one word what would it be?

If I could define my Hair Story in one word it would be EMBRACE!! I grew up thinking my hair was to hard to handle or “cabello malo” which in English means bad hair and I would always straighten my hair because that’s when I felt my hair was beautiful which made me feel beautiful. But one day that all changed, I decided I was going to embrace my hair and I did just that. I love curls, my curls are me . Hence why I chose my instagram name curlsrme. They are apart of me, they make me who I am and most importantly they tell a story of where I’m from and how could I not embrace that.

Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/ hair types vital for our generation?

I think that the hair revolution of celebrating natural / healthy hair types is vital for our generation because we live in a generation that feeds off of acceptance. I believe we all want to be accepted in some way shape or form and the best thing about natural /healthy hair is that there is no discrimination on race gender or color that will not allow you to be a part of such an empowering celebration of hair and self-love.  Here everyone fits in just come as you are Loving the hair you’re in.

If your Mixed Chicks story were a song..what would it be?

If my mixedchicks story were a song it would be “pelo suelto “by Gloria Trevi.

Do you have any go to beauty hair bloggers?

When I first started caring for my hair properly I came across sun kiss Alba and from there I discovered a new world of curly girls from mahogany curls to shameless mya and the list goes on , I love them all!!
