What has your experience been with the Mixed Chicks products? Mixed Chicks hair products have helped me love and appreciate my curly hair. It defines my curls and it doesn’t get frizzy at all.
What makes them different than other hair/beauty products you tried in the past? Mixed Chicks makes my hair feel very soft and its always moisturized. Before using Mixed Chicks, I used to use mousse and my hair was always so dry and it would be very flaky.
Do you have a go-to or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without? Yes, Mixed Chicks leave in conditioner. It was the first product I tried and I love it.
How has having a product specifically for your cultural/biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime? Before using Mixed Chicks, I didn’t really like to put my hair down and I would always put it in a bun or ponytail. But now that I found the perfect product for my hair I love to put my hair down.
How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background? Both my parents are Egyptian so I have really thick curly hair.
What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care? I love how the leave in conditioner is very light. It doesn’t weigh my curls down. It gives my hair so much volume.
If you could define Your Hair Story in one word what would it be? If I could define my hair story in one word it would be lively.
Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation? Celebrating natural/healthy hair types is vital for our generation and the generations to come because people need to learn to love and embrace their beautiful curls. They should feel lucky to have their curly hair because it truly is an amazing gift we have.
If your ‘Mixed Chick’ story were a song, what would it be? If my ‘Mixed Chick’ were a song, it would be Born this way by Lady Gaga.
Do you have any go-to beauty/hair bloggers or vloggers who inspire or help your hairstyles? No, I usually don’t go on blogs. I usually just browse on instagram and YouTube for different hairstyles but no one specific.
