Being biracial sisters (Italian and African American) in 2017 for us means being comfortable in your own skin and wearing your hair carefree as you please.
Do you have a go-to or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without?
Our go-to Mixed Chicks product would be the Leave- In Conditioner!!!!!! Literally keeps our curls defined, but soft. Definitely a must have!
How has having a product specifically for your cultural/biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime?
Having a product specifically for ethnic hair in general has impacted all ladies & men’s regime, because it’s a product that makes you feel like it was made personally for you. Everyone knows when your hair looks good, you feel better all around! Mixed Chicks enhances your confidence inside and out!
Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation?
Celebrating your hair in this generation is vital, because as sisters who’ve encountered countless criticism when growing up for wearing our hair natural, there was a time where we felt ashamed for wearing our hair as it naturally was, because of the things kids would say and the faces their parents would make for us not having bone straight hair. It’s truly beautiful to see more than ever women and girls feeling confident enough to shamelessly be themselves and wearing their hair free as doves!
