What does being (“Mixed”/ Multiracial/Bi-racial/ a Minority) mean to you in 2017?
Being an African American woman to me means strength, confidence, and beauty. I am proud to be a strong black woman. We are resilient and pure magic!
Who inspires your beauty routine? How does it incorporate into your personal style?
My grandma Gloria Jean, inspired and continues to inspire my beauty routine. She introduced me early on to facials, steaming my skin, and the overall health of my body. She was the quintessential woman. Everything about my current style was inspired by her. She taught me about the importance of beauty maintenance and how to incorporate style and class into my fashion choices.
Why is your go-to Mixed Chicks product essential for your hair regime?
The leave-in conditioner is the holy grail curly hair products. It adds moisture, shine, and has the perfect amount of hold. This product provides beautiful curl definition and tames frizz.
How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?
My curls represent the diversity of my culture. The beauty of my heritage is that it encompasses an array of textures, lengths, and curl patterns. When I look at my hair, I embrace my heritage and culture. I am comfortable and confident wearing the curls God blessed me with.
What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?

For hair advice I like look at blogs and websites because the information is more in depth. For pictures of hair styles, I browse Instagram or Pinterest. For hair tutorials I head over to Youtube.
