What does being mixed mean to you in 2017?
Being mixed means I’m a mix of my mom and dad so I’m not very dark and I’m not very light…I’m brown.
Do you have a go-to or token Mixed Chick product you cannot go without?
I have to use the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner else my hair is crazy.
How has having a product specifically for your multiracial background impacted your beauty regime?
Having products made just for my curly hair is better because stuff for straight hair doesn’t work very good.
How do your curls represent your cultural/ethnic background?
I’m the only one with curly hair in this house. But when I pour water on it, its long and kind of straight like Mommy’s.
What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?
Mixed Chicks is only for me! It makes my hair soft and pretty instead of crunchy or oily.
Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural hair types vital for our generation?
We have to celebrate everyone’s hair because we all have different hair. Some have curly hair or straight hair, some have long hair, some have short hair…or no hair like Daddy
