curly/wavy:
1. apply leave-in conditioner to wet hair, scrunch
2. wring hair out with fingers
3. air dry, or if you are in a hurry, sit under a hooded dryer or use a diffuser (no towel or blow-dry needed)
for straight hair:
1. shampoo and rinse
2. condition, comb or brush, and rinse
3. apply Mixed Chicks straightening serum or leave-in to damp hair
4. blow-dry
5. use a flat iron or another styling accessory
6. finish with hair silk for added shine
SALON PROFESSIONAL SECRET: while it is best to air dry with this product, some people like a <b>diffused</b> blow dryer on low heat for added volume.
Some like to do a two-strand twist with out leave in, on wet hair, then air dry for a great look!

I ordered this product based on the recommendation of a good friend. My hair/curl type is 2a in the front and 2c in the back with a low porosity level. This leave conditioner is very thick and creamy. A dime sized amount was more than enough for my (almost) shoulder length hair. I used this in combination with the clarifying shampoo and detangling deep conditioner. The smell is pleasant and just like the clarifying shampoo and detangling conditioner. I appreciated that the products I have tried all smell the same. It is not floral and I would describe it as a warm, comfortable smell. The conditioning factor is on point and my hair feels silky after application and stayed feeling silky after it dries. It did not leave my hair (or scalp) feeling greasy or oily. I normally let my hair air dry. My hair is not color treated or bleached. I do not heat treat my hair. Things I have struggled with are dryness and frizzy hair. I am impressed with the leave-in conditioner and will be purchasing the full size. My frizz level has been dramatically reduced and my hair feels soft to the touch.

Mixed Chicks Leave-In conditioner added moisture and sofftened my coily hair. It also allowed me the flexiblity of wearing my twist out a little longer than usual without frizz and retwisting every night.
Definitely will continue using.

What’s great about this leave-in is that it doesn’t leave my hair crunchy when dry, doesn’t flake the morning after, doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy, washes out easily, and works on all the different hair textures I have! This leave-in is excellent. I have very fine corkscrew curls, should length. This leave-in is lightweight and not sticky, my hair just drinks it in. It gives me soft, defined, curls without frizz and without turning crunchy.
