    What a disappointment that you changed the formulation and now include CARTHAMUS TINCTORIUS (SAFFLOWER) SEED OIL which I am allergic to. It’s a sad trend of many food and cosmetology products to only follow the $. I have been using this product since its inception in LA.

Directions for Frizz Control and Definition for Curly/Wavy Hair

For curly/wavy:

  1. apply leave-in conditioner to wet hair, scrunch
  2. wring hair out with fingers
  3. air dry, or if you are in a hurry, sit under a hooded dryer or use a diffuser (no towel or blow-dry needed)

An easy routine for straight hair:

  1. shampoo and rinse
  2. condition, comb or brush, and rinse
  3. apply Mixed Chicks straightening serum or leave-in to damp hair
  4. blow-dry
  5. use a flat iron or another styling accessory
  6. finish with hair silk for added shine

Styling Tips

  • Pair with Other Products: For best results, use in conjunction with Mixed Chicks products, such as the sulfate-free shampoo or deep conditioner.
