Directions for Frizz Control and Definition for Curly/Wavy Hair
The simple version:
- Work throughout wet hair, leave-in, air dry, & style.
For curly/wavy:
- Apply leave-in conditioner to wet hair, scrunch
- Wring hair out with fingers
- Air dry, or if you are in a hurry, sit under a hooded dryer or use a diffuser (no towel or blow-dry needed)
For straight hair:
- Shampoo and rinse
- Condition, comb or brush, and rinse
- Apply Mixed Chicks straightening serum or a little leave-in to damp hair
- Blow-dry
- Use a flat iron or another styling accessory
- Finish with hair silk for added shine

This was my first experience with a leave in conditioner! Very impressed. I will say because my hair is already pretty smooth I would save this for a dry end emergency or to give your hair some quick TLC. I’ll be switching back to the rinse out conditioner. This is nothing against this product it’s just not what my hair needs all the time :)

This stuff is my holy grail! My daughter and I are both caucasian (white) and have frizzy, 2c curl-patterned hair. As soon as we get out of the bath/shower, I scrunch a quarter-sized amount into sopping wet hair and then wrap it in a hair turban. When it is time to take down my hair, I scrunch some gel in my curls, toss and go! We get compliments all the time on our curls, and I attribute it 100% to this leave-in!!!
