More about this conditioner’s performance and key ingredients: We left out the color additives and did not ad fragrance. Many parents want fewer chemicals for products, so we tried to use a few as possible and keep the product performing its best. Here is an easy routine for curly/wavy and general frizz control:
1. shampoo and rinse
2. condition, comb or brush, and rinse
3. apply leave-in conditioner to wet hair, scrunch
4. wring hair out with fingers
5. air dry (no towel or blow-dry needed)
Mixed Chicks Kids Conditioner is blended with ingredients such as Jojoba, Rosemary, Safflower Oil, and Panthenol. Some companies falsely claim “all-natural” or “organic products.” We are not claiming that. Going 100% natural is nearly impossible when making hair care products. For example, you must have at least some form of preservative to keep products on a shelf without getting mold. Nevertheless, we believe less is more, so we try to limit the number of chemicals and still keep the products performing their best.

Occasionally I will try a cheeper brand on my daughter’s hair and I’m always disappointed. We always come back to Mixed Chicks. It’s the most moisturizing but also lightweight and leaves her curls shiny and bouncy. I love that there’s no heavy fragrance. It’s the best out there!

I use this on my daughter. She has really curly hair that gets super tangled. I use probably 1/4 cup and really saturate her hair, then put it in a bun and let her play in the bath. It’s really easy to comb after that. This is the only product I’ve found that works really well with her hair. My only complaint is with the pump. Every bottle we have had the pump breaks. Other than that the actual product is amazing!

I have been using this on my Granddaughters hair for over a year (she is now 2-1/2) and it is the best thing I have found. I can put this in and leave it while I wash body, then when I come back to her hair it is easy to brush/comb out. It leaves her hair really soft after it is rinsed out.
