Work through wet hair, massage into a lather, rinse…repeat if necessary.
Try not to shampoo curly hair more than 2x per week. Curls need natural oils. Instead, use Mixed Chicks conditioning cleansing CO-WASH on some days, then follow with the Leave-in Conditioner.

This shampoo is great for kids who get INTO IT on the playground, it cleans and strips EVERYTHING from her hair and leaves her scalp clean and her hair smelling great. I do follow up with heavy duty conditioner – the adult deep conditioner, or the kids conditioner and then the adult leave in on wash days to give those curls back some of their hydration.
