- apply leave-in conditioner to wet hair, scrunch
- wring hair out with fingers
- air dry, or if you are in a hurry, sit under a hooded dryer or use a diffuser (no towel or blow-dry needed)

I am biracial, and have struggled all my life with my hair routine. My mom is black, but I have a LOT of very fine, curly hair, which is nothing like hers in texture or thickness. So, most of my life has been devoted to taming the beast, mainly with hot combs and relaxers. In fact, I had no idea how curly my hair was until I was in college and started letting my hair air-dry. What a discovery! Then, the eternal pursuit for effective hair products ensued. I threw together concoction after concoction trying to find the magic “potion” to deal with my hair. I even continued to relax my hair for years, because it made my curls more managable and, mainly, I didn’t know what else to do. Thank goodness for the internet (and I truly mean that!) because others in my position started to discuss and create solutions to this dilemna! In comes Mixed Chicks! I have now stopped experimenting and can safely say I will be a customer for life! I’ve tried other products for biracial hair, and this one has been the most effective. I have curly Q type curls and about 4 different textures on my head (no exaggeration); so, I use the product in different amounts on different parts of my head. Also, for my hair, the product is a little drying and can make my hair crunchy. Moderation is the key for me. To counteract the fine and dry characteristics of my hair, I wash my hair only twice a week, but I wet and double-condition (deep condition and rinse, then condition and leave in) my hair almost every day. I apply Mixed Chicks leave-in AFTER the double-conditioning, and it works wonders! Thanks for helping me love my curls!

I just love this stuff. It is not stiff after it dries, and if you do have a fly away you can’t even tell. I will wash my hair one day, apply product. Then just re-wet the next day, add a little bit more product and style. I only wish it was available in more areas in my city. Only 2 salons carry it and they have marked it up too high. *** I AM THE TYPE OF PERSON, I WILL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT!! WELL I AM NOW A BELIEVER*** I am bi-racial (white/black) and my hair is very long, thick, wavy and natural (no relaxer). I was forced to buy spray leave-in-conditioners, anti-frizz creams, hair gel to hold my curls, and hair spray to lock in my style. NOW, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS SHAMPOO, DEEP CONDITION IN THE SHOWER (comb through in shower then rinse), AND APPLY THE LEAVE-IN-CONDITIONER AND WALK OUT!! NO EXAGGERATION. My curls are so soft and bouncy! I could tell a drastic change in my hair’s texture once I applied the deep conditioner and combed it through. My hair was like silk and 100% kink-free. I always let my hair air dry, which now the drying time is cut in half considering I am now only using 1 product on my hair vs. 4. I use Mixed Chicks after washing my hair everyday. The only way to style my curly hair is directly after washing it. It is so easy to use the product. Being able to have gorgeous hair is so simple with Mixed Chicks. I look like I’ve stepped straight out of the salon with this product. I’ve been using Mixed Chicks for 3 years and it works even after using it all this time. The only thing I dislike about the product is when it runs out! I only need to use a drop of the conditioner for my hair for the product to work (and I have long, thick, curly hair) I put in while my hair is still still damp and work it through to the ends. I love that they call it “Mixed Chicks” because I am a caucasion women and it works great on my hair! It does leave my hair a little dry but my curls stay curly all day which is what I have been looking for in a product for years. This is definitely the best leave in conditioner for my curly hair I ever used. I have that in between hair one minute it’s curly the other minute it’s wavy but when it gets to dry it is puffy to afro back in a ponytail..Hope the product works..because I have also tried everything you can think of..

This is the BEST product hands down. Im mixed with Black and italian and have bought everything out there for curly hair, they’re always to heavy or dry my hair out and give those limp curls. Mixed Chicks is perfect! Its so lightweight and smells great and I always get 2nd and 3rd day hair using it. Its the only product that I can use and let my hair air dry and still get great volume in my curls.

I am a Caucasian woman with very curly, but frizz-prone hair. I was a little skeptical about this product, but I had tried so many other things without success, so I thought, “What’s one more?” The conditioner goes in easily, but there is a bit of a scent at first. It’s not awful, and is not noticeable once my hair is dry. I can’t believe how great this stuff is! My hair dries with nice curls instead of frizz, and the product doesn’t leave my hair feeling “crunchy” like some of the other products that I’ve used. The only downside that I’ve found is that I’ve noticed a little greasiness after a couple of days. I normally wash my hair every three days, but my hair seems a little heavy after two days. My hair is not normally greasy, so it’s probably just that I’m using a little too much product. I’ve just started using it, so it may take a few times for me to find the right amount for my hair. This is the first thing that has really worked for my hair, and I will continue to use it. I’m so glad that I found out about Mixed Chicks. Thank you!!!
