After years of wearing my curly hair straight, I gave up the fight. As a “teaser” I bought the trial-size product. I tried the shampoo and loved what it did for my hair. It does what it says…I noticed a difference immediately. It smells great and prepped my hair for the deep conditioner.

With my daughter’s very curly hair we don’t shampoo it on a normal basis to prevent her hair drying out. I’m not worried about the lather because being more of a naturalist, I know that the lather isn’t that great for your hair. But I fell in love with Mixed Chicks & have been afraid to go natural with her hair, lol! The product works though, it cleans well & I don’t have to worry about it weighing down her hair at all. I think I’m going to try the sulfate-free whenever I run out of this one though.

I wear a texturizer to extend the length of my curls. With the Mixed Chicks Shampoo I can obtain more controlled curls especially when I combine the Deep Conditioner with the Leave in Conditioner. I highly recommend using all three products to achieve the silkiest and bounciest curls. **Using the Shampoo alone will not achieve the best results!!**

I love it….it is really plenty “soap” hair bottle that I can order two leave-in conditioners bottles by the time 1 shampoo bottle and 2-3 leave-in conditioners bottles run out at the same. It is really great.

I just started using this product..I have very curly hair. Usually during humid days it would end up all frizzy and looking like a birds nest! I have tried ALOT of different shampoos and conditioners for my hair but this product is amazing!! I have wavy hair with loose curls and it as been very difficult to find a product that will keep my hair moisturized. I like the shampoo it smells good, very gentle and lathers very well. It just dried my hair out a little and I’m not used to that. That is the only bad thing I can say about it but I will still use it for every wash until I run out. I am not sure I would purchase it again.

I must have viewed product reviews a dozen times before finally purchasing several products from your line.I wasn’t the least bit concerned until I viewed the “chemicals” found in your shampoo, particularly ALS, a drying agent and detergent. Most shampoos are found to have this ingredient however, I was attracted to your product because of the moisturizing qualities you presented. I’m somewhat confused, simply because I was expecting more of a natural product. In any event, I will gladly use your products and let you know how all turns out with the shampoo. Wanted to use this on my twins’ hair but afraid, only because I have always used organic shampoos minus harsh detergents on their hair. Maybe I’ll co-wash instead!

I rarely use conditioners and just detangle with shampoo. Most clarifying shampoos make your hair dry and strip it of its natural moisture. Not with the clarifying shampoo. I keep my moisture and my hair gets detangled in no time.

I am 100% Mexican not mixed at all and I love this product! My hair is straight, heavy, thick and dry. I also have an oily scalp. Many products that work for my hair will cause my scalp to flake or itch. I do not use any “heat” on my hair or color it (I do not blow dry, flat iron it or curl it) I currently live in Kabul, Afghanistan. The water is full of chlorine ~ it seems to dry out my skin and hair. I read about this in a magazine (not sure which one) and decided to try it out. I ordered three sample packs (THANK YOU MixedChicks dot com for […] it to my APO address) I thought I would use 2 and give one to a friend. The samples are generous! The shampoo seemed very thick in the shower. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to rinse it all out. It seemed to “heavy” and bit “greasy”. I let it dry overnight. I woke up to the softest hair. It was so smooth and full of bounce! I did not know how dry my hair was until I used this shampoo (along with the use of their conditioner). Please don’t hesitate to try this product – you will be amazed how great this product is!

Did not think I would like this, never have used a clarifing shampoo however, I love it. Leaves my hair clean and ready for the deep conditioner. I am a really curly redhead and have been having a very long, dry, frizzy winter with my extra long spirals in one shampoo, deep condition and leave in my hair looks like I have always wanted it too. Yeah!
