Guest Blog- Jismely Reviews Our 2017 Line

My first experience with Mixed Chicks was a year ago. I have naturally curly hair but I had been straightening it almost every day for a year. It was dry, damage and frizzy. Needless to say I needed a product that would help me tame the frizz, moisturize my hair and keep it soft without making it look greasy. After my first use, I fell in love with Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner. The consistency of this product is very lightweight, which I love because it doesn’t weigh my hair down, but it still keeps my hair very hydrated. This product is a staple in my healthy hair routine, I use it twice a week, on my wash days. I consider this a MUST HAVE for curly haired people!

One of my other favorite products from the 2017 line is the Coil,Kink, and Curl Styling Cream. I really like this product because it gives me a lot of definition and a good hold. I also like the Curl Sculptor and a little bit of this product goes a long way! With my busy schedule, I don’t always have time to do my hair, which is why the Curl Sculptor is a must have, it is fast drying, so it does the work for me. 

The last product I apply when my curls are fully dry is the Slick Styling Tamer. As any curly haired girl knows, it is hard to find the right product to tame your edges, I started using the Styling Tamer, and I will never go back, I absolutely love it. I use this product when my hair is both lose or tight up in a bun. It gives me the perfect hold and it does not give me any flakes, which is SO important.
