Over the last couple of years, more and more curly girls have been electing to not use shampoos to cleanse their hair, thinking that the shampoo would be drying. However, failure to remove buildup and cleanse your hair properly can affect your hair’s overall health. It can lead to breakage and stunt your hairs’ growth.
There are three different types of Mixed Chicks cleansers you can use to keep your hair clean and healthy.
- Mixed Chicks Clarifying Shampoo: Clarifying Shampoos are great for deep cleaning your hair and removing excess dirt, oil, and additional buildup. Yes, most clarifying shampoos do contain a sulfate. Sulfates get a bad rep because they can be drying to the hair, however, our formula is not as concentrated, and does not strip most allowing you to cleanse your hair while maintaining its moisture. Try out our Clarifying Shampoo!
- Mixed Chicks Sulfate-Free Shampoo was initially designed for those with color and chemically treated hair. It helps maintain color longer and does not counteract with keratin treatments. It does a great job cleansing without stripping hairs’ natural oils. It is great for those that don’t like using sulfates!
- Mixed Chicks Conditioning Co-Wash: Co-washes are fantastic for detangling, moisturizing, and cleaning your hair in between washes. Cleans impurities without the detergents. Try out our Conditioning Cleansing Co-Wash Shampoo Alternative!
We always recommend after every shampoo usage to follow up with a conditioner, preferably the Mixed Chicks Detangling Deep Conditioner.
