BEING ‘MIXED’ IS BECOMING IT’S OWN RACE. IM GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE IN A TIME WHERE THE LINES OF RACE ARE BEING BLENDED MAKING THE LINES OF RACISM MORE DIFFICULT TO DEFINE. #ENDRACISMNOW

How has having a product specifically for your
cultural/biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty
regime?
I GET ASKED ALL THE TIME WHAT I USE ON MY HAIR. THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH CURLS THAT CANT BE DEFINED BY ONE TEXTURE. MIXED CHICKS WORKS ON ALMOST EVERY TYPE OF ‘CURLY HAIR’. IM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE ‘MIXED CHICKS’ PRODUCTS AND I PROMOTE THEM ALL THE TIME.
How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?
WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I USED TO HATE MY CURLS. I JUST WANTED STRAIGHT HAIR LIKE MOST OF MY FRIENDS. IM SO GRATEFUL NOW AND ROCK MY CURLS WITH SO MUCH PRIDE. FITTING IN IS SUCH A TRICK. STANDING OUT IS WHAT MAKES YOU SHINE!
What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your

THE FACT THAT THERE IS A LINE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR CURLS MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I AM ON THE LEADING EDGE OF A NEW GENERATION.
