In 2018, do you feel the conversation around being (Multiracial/Biracial/Mixed) has shifted more positively or negatively?
Positively – more of a realisation is reflected in the beautiful uniqueness that two cultures have combined together.

What is your go-to Mixed Chicks product essential for your hair regime?
Leave-In Conditioner! Its hairs water to the body!
How is your cultural/ethnic background reflected in your hair? (ex: texture, length, curl pattern, etc.)
Hmmmm.. no simple answer for this one. My Pops has Barbados his side and my Mumma Irish- both reflect in my hair! When’s its completely natural with nothing in it whatsoever to words to describe it. FRIZZ.BOMB. A few tiny curls hide around my neck but generally each strand is an afro zigzag. Feed the Fro some moisture and it’s a whole different hair game, fusilli curls are defined as if I’ve just had a perm! Dark brown hair from the Pops but when dry in the light a tinge of red shines through from my Mumma. Nice blend of the two. However if I straightened my hair and you didn’t know it was curly before it would be hard guessed to know I had a smidge of Caribbean blood – unless the straighter didn’t get close enough to my roots!
Our new campaign is focused on #itsminetodefine, What does this mean to you?
#itsminetodefine means to me ‘gratitude’. Gratitude for the privilege to have such cool hair to own and style!
What’s your favorite protective style?
Well its mine but not so much my husbands… 2 French braids, then tied back together and finished off with either a silk bonnet or a pair of tights on the head with a lil bow on top.
What’s your Go-to Spring Hairstyle?
Go to spring hair style for me- Wash -Moisture and Go!
