What does being “Mixed, Multiracial or Bi-racial) mean to you in 2017?

Being mixed means that your life, who you are, and where you come from are a beautiful blend and not just unilateral.

Do you have a Go-To or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without?

I cannot go without the Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner.

How has having a product specifically for your cultural/biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime?

Before coming across Mixed Chicks products I felt like no other brands knew how to make products specifically for my hair type. I felt so thought about and so happy knowing that now something was available just for me.

Do you use any other Mixed Chicks products as part of your beauty routine? (Paddle Brushes/Make-Up/ Soap/Spring Bands)

No.

What new 2017 Mixed Chicks product are you interested in trying out? (New Products on MixedChicks.Net)

I am a huge fan of deep conditioners so I am very excited to try the Detangling DEEP conditioner!

How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?

My curls represent my cultural background because they point to the rich genes of my ancestors.

What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?

I love what my Leave-In Conditioner bottle says on the front, giving all multicultural and mixed girls a place and a shout-out!

Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation?

It’s vital because the more we let women all over the country know that their hair they were born with is beautiful and is something they should be proud of. The more we unlock their self-esteem and their courage to be themselves in a world that desperately needs them as they are.

I love what Alicia Keys has been promoting surrounding the natural movement.
