What does being (“Mixed, Multiracial or Bi-racialmean to you in 2017?
Being Bi-racial in 2017 to me means being accepted for who I am and all my features. It means wearing my natural curls proudly and confidently.
Do you have a Go-To or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without?
My token Mixed Chick product is the Leave-In Conditioner, cannot live without it! It defines my curls and locks in moisture. A must all year long.
How has having a product specifically for your cultural/biracial/ethnic/multiracial  background impacted your beauty regime?
I no longer have to spend time searching to make sure ingredients will compliment my hair type. Thanks to Mixed Chicks I have a curl defining formula with safe ingredients.
How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?
My curls represent my biracial background by being unique. They are bold and unapologetic.
What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?
The Mixed Chicks brand has made sure to represent “us”. Meaning whoever you are whatever type of hair. This brand empowers me to be myself and style my hair with the same confidence.
Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation?
For years natural hair was looked down upon. Natural hair was too wild and not attractive in the eyes of society. This revolution through hair gives us a voice that we can be our natural self and still be beautiful. That confidence is vital for our generation.
What’s your Go-To Sumer hairstyle?
My go-to summer hairstyle is a high pony tail. I love the way my curls cascade down my head like a crown.

Is there a (Mixed/Multiracial/Bi-racial) celebrity who empowers you?
I love Zendaya! She is bi-racial and has so much self love. She wears her hair however she wants and encourages others to do the same!
Do you have any go-to beauty/hair bloggers or vloggers who inspire or help your hairstyles?
SunkissAlba is the first curly queen to inspire me. By watching her YouTube I learned everything I know today about my hair type. She has endless videos on hairstyle inspirations!
Do you use any other Mixed Chicks products as part of your beauty routine? (Paddle Brushes/Make-Up/ Soap/Spring Bands)
I own the Mixed Chicks paddle brush and it’s my favorite tool. It is perfect for detangling and defining curls!
What new 2017 Mixed Chicks product are you interested in trying out?
I’m really interested in trying the styling gel. I can’t wait to see how it holds and adds texture to my curls.
