What does being (“Mixed”/ Multiracial/Bi-racial/ a Minority) mean to you in 2017?
Being Bi-racial in 2017 means that I can be myself…natural, beautiful, bold,unique and wonderfully made and I don’t have to conform to what society thinks is beautiful or professional. I’ve been empowered to express my diversity with my hair and thanks to the Mixed Chicks brand I’m able to do that!!
Who inspires your beauty routine? How does it incorporate into your personal style?
Traci Ellis Ross and Alicia Keys inspire my beauty routine. I love their sense of style and how they’re unapologetic with their natural beauty!!
Why is your go-to Mixed Chicks product essential for your hair regime?
My hair loves the Mixed Chicks Leave-In conditioner!! It moisturizes my hair and leaves it feelings so soft. So my hair is a good representation of my ethnic background with my hair being both my Mother & Fathers hair textures.
What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?
The Mixed Chicks brand has empowered me to embrace and manage my hair in its natural state thank you Wendi and Kim!!!
Which haircare trend are you excited to try this season?
I really would like to try faux locs as just a protective style this season.
